We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Transport Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching transportation activities, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods. The successful candidate will also have exceptional communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong understanding of transportation logistics.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 6:30 pm
The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Plan and dispatch loads from the warehouses to be delivered to sub-contractor facilities nationwide
- Liaise with subcontractors and drivers to advise of planned loads
- Liaise with DCs & ensure deliveries booked for delivery
- Update dashboards with all correct information i.e. bookings, transfers
- Train new team members on the systems and processes
Ideal Candidate will have:
- Minimum of 5 year’s experience working within transport industry - previous disaptching experience favourable
- Knowledge and understanding of the Road Code and Land Transport Act 1998
- Good geographical knowlegde of NZ
- Excellent interpersonal skills
