We are seeking a highly organised Transport Loader Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all transport loading activities. You will play a key role in ensuring freight is loaded or unloaded from trucks in an efficient manner, manage a small team of 5 Loaders, and ensuring a safe working environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who has leadership skills and is up for a challenge in their career.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 pm - 5.00 am
The successful applicant will:
- Supervise and lead a small team of Loaders
- Ensure that outgoing freight is correct, manifested and loaded in a timely manner as per the load plans
- Check all hire pallet swaps when it arrives into the depot
- Report to dispatchers any late or undelivered freight
- Report damages and clean spills
About you:
- Minimum 2 years experience in logistics / warehousing and operating a forklift
- People management experience (desirable)
- A current counterbalance or forklift license
- Long fork experience
