Are you detail-oriented, organised, and passionate about logistics? We're looking for a Container Administrator to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in maintaining efficient and accurate container operations across all Cardinal sites.

About the Role:
As a Container Administrator, you’ll be responsible for managing container records, supporting logistics efficiency, and ensuring the timely movement of containers. You’ll work closely with both internal teams and external partners to make sure our container operations run smoothly and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately record and maintain container information and inventory.
  • Monitor container loading and unloading processes to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align container activities with logistics plans.
  • Follow up with external parties when information is missing or incomplete.
  • Identify risks related to additional container costs and notify management.
  • Look for ways to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure timely collection of customs documents and BACCs from stakeholders.
  • Perform additional tasks as required to support the team and operations.

Who You’ll Work With:

  • Internal: Head of Containers, Warehouse Manager, Transport Manager, Inwards Manager, Customer Service Managers, QC, Dispatch, Pick/Pack Team, Container Drivers.
  • External: Clients and Suppliers.

What You Bring:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in container administration.
  • Strong knowledge of container logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with container tracking and management systems.
  • Understanding of industry regulations and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics platforms such as Port Connect, OneStop, Container Chain, GoFreight, and Navis.
