Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for operational excellence and team development? We're on the hunt for an experienced Operations Lead – Transport to take charge of our day-to-day transport operations and help us drive performance to the next level.

In this fast-paced role, you’ll be leading a dedicated transport team, managing workflows, and ensuring safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction are at the heart of everything we do. You’ll play a key role in resourcing, team leadership, and performance improvement while ensuring high standards across the board.

Shift available:

Afternoon: 1pm - 9:30pm

About the role:

  • Lead, coach, and manage the transport team to meet daily KPIs and operational goals
  • Drive a strong safety-first culture, ensuring all H&S protocols and PPE compliance
  • Manage daily transport activities to ensure smooth, timely, and accurate order fulfilment
  • Use systems and dashboards to track and report performance, identify blockers, and drive improvements
  • Maintain strong communication with internal teams and external transport providers
  • Optimise workflows and resource allocation for maximum efficiency
  • Champion high housekeeping standards and continuous improvement across the operation

What you bring:

  • A minimum of 2 years proven people leader experience within the transport industry (Additional experience in warehouse operations is advantageous)
  • Proven leadership capability - able to develop teams and manage performance
  • Clear communicator with the ability to manage change and solve problems on the ground
  • Strong knowledge of food industrial regulations, Dangerous Goods (DG) and compliance requirements
  • Experience in SOP adherence and implementation
