This is shift work, rotating between the following work hours:

Monday to Friday, 6am - 2:30pm

Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm

Monday to Thursday, 2:30pm - 1am

About the role:

As a Maintenance Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facilities, machinery, and equipment. You will be responsible for both preventative and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure minimal downtime and optimal productivity.

What you'll do:

• Conduct routine preventative maintenance, inspections, and cleaning.
• Service and replace faulty equipment during urgent breakdowns.
• Manage inventory and reorder spare parts as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimise system downtime.
• Requisition spare parts as needed.
• Documenting tasks in the CMMS, MEX System.
• Take on additional tasks and responsibilities such as small project work as required.

About you:

• Be a New Zealand licensed electrician or an apprentice actively working towards a recognised electrical qualification. 
• Proven experience as an Electrician or an apprentice, preferably with some experience in a similar role in industrial environment.
• Expertise in troubleshooting, system operations maintenance, and fault diagnosis.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills.
• EWRB license advantageous.
