We are looking for an experienced Transport Operations Lead to take ownership of the transport operations while driving performance.
In this fast paced, newly created role, you will lead a dedicated team and play key part in shaping the success of our transport operations.

This is a key role in making sure that workflows are running smoothly, and ensure safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction remain top priorities.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 3am - 1:30pm 
  • Monday to Friday, 5pm - 3:30am

About the role:

  • Lead and support the transport team to achieve targets
  • Oversee daily transport activities, from ensuring outbound pallets are QC to making sure trucks are loaded & unloaded in a safe but efficient manner
  • Work closely with the dispatch team to plan transfers and direct deliveries
  • Maintain strong communication with internal teams and external transport partners
  • Use systems and dashboards to track performance and drive improvements
  • Champion a strong safety culture with full H&S and PPE compliance

What you bring:

  • 2+ years’ leadership experience in a transport or warehouse environment
  • Proven ability to manage teams of 10+ people
  • Experience with transport management systems (Navare, GoFreight an advantage)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to adapt quickly to last minute changes
  • Clear communicator with solid problem solving skills and a solutions focused mindset
  • Ability to work under pressure and think outside the box
  • Knowledge of Dangerous Goods and compliance requirements
  • Forklift experience (long forks) and a current forklift license
