We are seeking an experienced Import & Export Specialist to oversee the day-to-day management of import and export operations at our Auckland site. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations, accurate stock management, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organising the despatch of goods with completed documentation
• Maintaining prescribed records of goods received and despatched
• Examining shipping documents and verifying cargo to be released
•  Ensuring outgoing shipments are in good condition and meet specifications
• Identifying items and containers of incoming and outgoing shipments and verifying them against consignment records
•  Receiving details of outgoing cargo, and arranging bookings of freight space and collection of goods from customers
• Arranging internal distribution of goods received

Key Skills & Experience:

• University or approved industry qualification is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of warehousing and logistics processes.
• WMS and SAP experience preferred but not essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; IT-savvy.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Forklift license preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices an advantage.
• Flexibility with work days and hours.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience or level 4 qualification and above
