About the Role

We’re on the lookout for a detail-driven and commercially minded Operations Accountant to join our growing team in Manukau. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with operations, improving processes, and providing meaningful financial insights that help drive business performance.

You’ll play a key role in supporting day-to-day financial operations while partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, cost control, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Support operational finance activities, reporting, and analysis
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Partner with operational teams to provide financial insights and recommendations
• Monitor costs and identify opportunities for improvement
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company processes
• Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in accounting, finance, or operational finance roles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
• Experience in logistics, warehousing, or operational environments is a bonus
• Relevant accounting qualification or working towards one
