We are looking for a driven Automation Operations Coordinator who has experience working at an automated warehouse and can trouble shoot & resolve system issue and provide support in making sure the operations is running smoothly. You must be a technical extraordinaire who is naturally solutions focused and a leader who always strives for operational excellence. With a background in automation and 3PL, you will be able to take on this role with ease. You will be instrumental in driving innovation within Cardinal by leveraging technology to enhance operational effectiveness. A collaborative spirit combined with analytical skills will be key to excelling in this role. This role may require travel between sites, a full NZ driver license is also required.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform system resets, adjustments, and provide first level technical support.
  • Monitor the automated systems, trouble shoot errors, identify and respond to technical or operational issues
  • Provide training and support to the team on system operations and queries 
  • Analyse data to spot inefficiencies and contribute to improvement initiatives

What you'll bring:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in an operations or automation role within a logistics or supply chain environment
  • Solid understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and automation technology
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to diagnose system and process issues 
  • Excellent communication skills & interpersonal skills

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 3pm - 11:30pm
