We are on the lookout for a sharp, experienced Dispatcher to join our team and we are  ready to bring the right person on board quickly. This role plays a key part in keeping our network running at peak performance and ensuring our customers receive the exceptional service we are known for.

As our Transport Dispatcher, you will  take ownership of planning, scheduling, and coordinating daily delivery routes for our drivers, helping to keep transport operations across Auckland running smoothly and efficiently. This is a full time, Monday to Friday day shift position, giving you stability, consistency, and the chance to lead the flow of our daily operations

To be successful:

  • You have at least 3+ years dispatching experience within the transport, logistics and FMCG industry
  • Have a good geographical knowledge of the Auckland Metro area
  • Have the ability to maximise truck utilisation by ensuring efficient load planning so that freight is delivered on time
  • Excellent communication skills to liase and coordinate deliveries and collections with internal & external stakeholder stakeholders
  • Prepare and manage delivery paperwork and manifests
  • Be organised, have a proactive approach and be solutions focused
  • Have the ability to work in a fast paced enviroment and have a positive attitude even the challenges arise
  • Maintain accurate data entry in the Transport Management System (TMS)
  • Conduct daily checks to ensure all freight is dispatched
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer based systems
  • Forklift licence and/or truck driver’s licence (preferred)
